About Us

Hypnotherapy Scotland is a people helping organisation. Our group comprises 3 NCH award winning therapists John D Lawrence and Rae Jenson in Central Scotland and Jo Goss in the North. We are professional Hypnotherapists who also run courses to train others in Hypnotherapy, Hypno-Touch® NLP, EFT and other specialist hypnotherapy courses. We very much believe in walking our talk. Not only do we train hypnotherapists, but we are busy practising therapists with experience at the therapy front over a number of years and within various settings from home practice to Holistic Health centre practice.

We represent the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences in Scotland and are members of Brookhouse Hypnotherapy Group, a highly respected group of independent practitioners within the UK (for details visit www.brookhousehypnotherapy.co.uk)

We offer many of the UK Academy courses meaning that the most modern training techniques are available to those living in Scotland. The UK Academy also run courses in London and Manchester

What drives us
We believe every client is unique, deserves to be treated with respect and should never judged or labelled. It is our intention to offer a place of safety and comfort, where our clients feel they are listened to, can openly discuss anything and are guided and supported towards finding solutions. Our goal is to offer a professional, reliable and ethical practice to all our clients. We set our prices fairly and aim to complete therapy at the earliest and safest opportunity, releasing our clients to re-engage with life more positively.

Rae, John and Jo
All three therapists work with many kinds of problems and also specialise in some areas:
Rae specialises in working with weight management, sexual problems and anxiety. She works on Thursdays and Fridays.
John specialises in Pain management, IBS, Peadiatric Hypnosis and Performance Enhancement. He works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.
Jo is only available for sessions in the North. She specialises in helping people deal with anxiety problems.
