Art Classes
We currently offer you two kinds of art class:
Drawing and Painting for expressing your emotions and
Watercolour technique for beginners and intermediate.

  • Have you recently lost someone close to you and don't know how to rebuild your life?
  • Are you lonely and would like to meet other people but you don't want to join a dating agency?
  • Would you like to spend a few hours each week painting/drawing, drinking tea, eating biscuits and chatting to "real people" instead of avatars in chat rooms?
  • Would you like to re-gain your confidence and get out into the world again?

If you are saying yes to all these questions? it's time you paid us a visit.

Stress is often brought about when your life becomes unbalanced through pressure, events and circumstances. Doing things that help discharge your tension and allow you space to express your inner thoughts and feelings are very important, for your mental and physical health and help recovery from life's ups and downs. Many people don't know how to deal with stress and become ill, suffering from anxiety and other related dis-ease as a result.

We see people in our Hypnotherapy practice all the time who are "burning out" and are in need of some time to relax, think, chat, have some company and just do something for themselves. Exercise is an excellent way to change your mood but not everyone is capable of physical exercise.   That's where we can help. We would like you to join us in our weekly groups to exercise   your "mind".   We have discussions, teach you self hypnosis, help you learn about how to help yourself. Some days we paint and draw, other days we just chat about life.

Many people would like to do something "creative" but they feel their ability doesn't stretch to enrolling in college classes or committing to a course.   It's such a shame when you don't   make time to enjoy being creative.   That's why we are walking our talk and using our talents by offering you the opportunity to join us in   our idyllic location and setting, to spend a few hours in our Art Studio. We   offer a unique opportunity to wind down within the energy and peace of our therapeutic environment.   You bring your paper and paints and we supply the tea, biscuits and tuition. We can help you   release some of your tension through the wonderful therapy of being creative! You don’t have to be good at drawing or painting, this is about having fun and you are in safe hands. As well as being therapists, Rae Jenson is also a fully qualified Teacher of Art and John Lawrence is a trained Artist. Both bring their individuality to help you restore the balance.

We are currently developing short courses in drawing and painting, confidence and self hypnosis altogether, with a view to   offer people an opportunity to spend some time in a peaceful situation with some personal instruction. Please be aware that the course is not about possessing artistic merit, although that will improve! It really is more about learning how to stop and take time to observe the beauty, colour, shape and form of everyday life   surrounding us. Basically it’s about learning   to see anew, to observe and appreciate.
